The Antique Rug & Textile Show in San Francisco 17-20 October 2013 at the Motel Capri will open in less than two months. So it is time to book your flytickets and register for the opening reception Thursday 17 October. This years exhibitors include a long list of internationally well-known and esteemed antique rug dealers.
The pre-opening of the Berlin Antique Rugs & Textile Exhibition took place Thursday evening 30 May 2013 and was well attended with circa 120 visitors. The fair opened for the public Friday 31 May at 11.00 and the first hours were quite busy for the circa 25 antique rug and textile dealers.
It might be more appropriate to call this year’s antique rug and textile extravaganza in San Francisco, ‘Arasta Bazaar meets the Golden Gate’, rather than ARTS 2012, because in many ways, that’s the closest analogy that comes to mind.
The Antique Rug & Textile Show at Motel Capri in San Francisco 18-21 October 2012 was well organized and business was as usual according to some of the attending dealers. The visiting buyers were mostly regular collectors.
