Rippon Boswell expands activity

Rippon Boswell, Wiesbaden, one of the leading auctioneers of collectable antique rugs and textiles, has just announced, that they are planning to expand their activity into the field of applied art. A new department will handle this new part of the business.

Their auctions have always drawn special attention among rug collectors because of their specialization in rugs, carpets and textiles. Dates for carpet auctions in 2012 are 24 March, 19 May and 24 November 2012.

According to Detlev Maltzahn 2011 was a successful business year for Rippon Boswell despite the difficult economic situation. “The three sales we held in 2011 achieved a number of remarkable results” said Detlev Maltzahn.
