Soulis Auctions continues the sale of the John Adair Jr. Collection with ‘Antique Caucasian Rugs & Modern Art – Session 2’, on 21 February 2026 in Kansas City, Missouri. The auction includes 75 carpet lots (lot 77 – lot 151).

The auction forms part of a five-part series devoted to one of the most extensive private collections of Caucasian rugs to appear on the market in recent decades. As in the opening sale in December 2025, the second session combines important weavings with selected works of post-war modern art. John Adair’s collection is widely recognised for its breadth and consistency. Over many years, he assembled rugs representing all major Caucasian weaving centres.

Preview is available by appointment and on Friday, 20 February from 2 to 5 pm (Central Time) at Soulis Auctions’ premises in Lone Jack, Missouri.
