The New York International Carpet Show runs during New York Metro Market Week from Sunday, September 12th through Tuesday, September 14th 2010.
NYICS’ new home is the furnishings trade center at 7 West 34th Street, across the street from the Empire State Building and two blocks from the traditional Carpet District. “It’s a good fit and elevates the visibility of the show and our vendors,” says the owner of show, Dennis Dodds.
Several top importers from last year’s show and a number of quality first-timers have already committed. “In early May of last year”, Dennis Dodds says, “I could count the number of booth contracts on one hand. But this year there’s vitality in the marketplace and we’re building a growing roster of quality participants. Visitors will be treated to a mix of stunning products that they’ve never seen before.”
