Nazmiyal Auctions ‘Early Antique Rugs & Rare Textiles Auction’ 25 February 2024. Lot 164. Antique Persian Mohtashem Kashan Rug 10 ft 11 in x 7 ft 10 in (3.32 m x 2.38 m). From Davide Halevim Collection. The lot is in a very good condition. The pile is mostly full , low and even with a few spots that show more minor wear. The two ends are original and secured. The two sides are complete and re-salvaged. There is no dryness or cracking in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready. Estimate $20,000-$30,000. Sold for $20.000
Persian Sarouk Farahan Rug
Nazmiyal Auctions ‘Early Antique Rugs and Rare Textiles Auction’ 25 February 2024. Lot 265. Large Antique Persian Sarouk Farahan Rug 17 ft 2 in x 10 ft 9 in (5.23 m x 3.27 m). The lot is in a vey good to excellent pile condition. The pile is full and even with no wear or tear visible. There is an area of 1/2″ x 16″ rewoven professionally near one end. The two ends are complete and secured. The sides are complete and secured. There is no dryness or cracking in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready. Estimate $5,000-$8,000. Sold $7.500

Condition: good, low pile in places, scattered small repairs, selvages minimally incomplete and rebound, small moth damages at lower left side, signs of use. Estimate: € 4.000 – 6.000. Sold € 3.000
