Netherhampton Salerooms first sale this year of Carpets, Rugs and Textiles will be an On-line Timed Auction opening at 10a.m. on Thursday 23 March 2023 and closing on Wednesday 29 March 2023. On the final day Wednesday 29 March Lot 1 is sold at 10a.m. and so on until all lots are sold.

“There are 219 lots in the sale including attractive room-sized carpets, tribal and city rugs.” says Netherhamptons carpet specialist June Barrett to Jozan Magazine.

Public viewing will take place Thursday 23 March 9.30a.m.-4.30p.m. and Monday 27 March 9.30a.m.-4.30p.m.

Lot 58. Joshaghan rug, north central Persia, circa 1920s-30s, 6ft. 9in. x 4ft. 5in. 2.05m. x 1.35m. Estimate: £700-800
Lot 109. Mohtashem Kashan rug, west Persia, late 19th/early 20th century, 7ft. 2in. x 4ft. 5in. 2.18m. x 1.35m. Estimate: £3,000-4,000
