Bruun Rasmussen’s sale 915 on 19 September 2023 at 14:00 includes 21 carpet and textile lots. Their preview in Bredgade, Copenhagen is open for the public 14-17 September.

‘The final sale at our Bredgade location before moving to our new domicile in Lyngby offers a fine selection of rugs and carpets. The highlights of the sale are two Bakshaish carpets, a small size Karadja-Heriz rug, a Kashan Mohtasham, a few silk Kashan rugs and a Khotan rug.’ said Bruun Rasmussens carpet expert Henrik Schleppegrel to Jozan Magazine.

Lot. 230. A Tabriz carpet, Persia. All over repeating Mostofi design on a honey colored field. Early 20th century. 348 x 256 cm. Est. 5300.-
Lot 172. A dated Bakshaish room size carpet, North West Persia. Dated 1298=1881. 691 x 403 cm. Est. 27.000-33.000.- Euro.
Lot 229. An antique square Karadja-Heriz rug, North West Persia. A rare small size example. C. 1900. 177 x 140 cm. Est. 3300.-
Lot 176. A signed Baktiari carpet, Persia. All over linked flower and foliage design. Fine example. Mid-20th century. 337 x 466 cm. Est. 4000-5300.- Euro.
