Rippon Boswell will hold three auctions to sell the VOK Collection of antique flatweaves and textiles compiled by Dr Ignazio Vok. The entire collection includes 263 flatweaves and textiles from Uzbekistan, Anatolia, Persia and the Caucasus. The first selection with 88 lots will be on sale at Rippon Boswell 11 April 2015 at 3pm. Previews are open for the public from 7 April – 11 April.

Ignazio Vok was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 1938. Vok studied architecture in Munich and Venice and developed an interest in the art of Asia, Africa and the Islamic cultures.
