Austria Auction Company will hold a highly interesting sale 9 May 2015 at 2pm including the Kurt Munkacsi and Nancy Jefries Collection of antique Turkmen rugs.
The first part of the auction ‘Fine Antique Oriental Rugs IV’, lot 1-87, includes lots from private collections and the second part, lot 88-224, includes the Munkacsi Collection of antique Turkmen rugs. Such a number of highly interesting antique Turkmen rugs have not been seen on auction since the Pinner sale at Rippon Boswell in 2004.
The preview exhibition at Novomatic Forum will be open for the public 7 May – 8 May, both days 10am-7pm, and on the day of the auction 9 may from 10am-2pm.
