Hali Publication has just announced that they have organised an art and culture study tour to Transylvania 6-17 June 2013 which will be lead by Stefano Ionescu and Hali’s editor Ben Evans.
Stefano Ionesco, author of “Antique Ottoman Rugs in Transylvania” and a respected and popular lecturer, has been organizer of rug study tours to Transylvania for a decade.
According to Hali this tour in June 2013 will include highlights as a private visit in the Black Church in Brasov with its famous collection of Anatolian carpets, a close up look at 300 masterpiece Ottoman rugs, Romanian folk kilims and weavings, Tuduc forgeries, post-Byzantine textiles and much more.
