Exploring the relationship between carpets and other art forms
Organized by Stefano Ionescu, following his successful 2024 Carpet Study Tour to Western and Central Anatolia, this tour from May 24 to June 4, 2025, will explore the relationship between carpets and other regional art forms, such as late antiquity mosaics and Seljuk architecture.
The tour includes visits to weaving and restoration workshops, museums with carpet exhibitions, and historical sites in cities such as Sivas, Mardin, Gaziantep, and Konya.
