On Saturday, 13 July 2019, The Textile Museum will be hosting a special Rug and Textile Appreciation Morning and lunch reception to celebrate John Howe and his blog documenting nearly ten years’ museum’s most popular program.

For over a decade, John Howe has documented the museum’s Rug and Textile Appreciation Morning programs through the blog Textiles and Text. This July, the museum is unveiling his complete, illustrated archive as a permanent digital resource and as a set of bound volumes in the Arthur D. Jenkins Library.
