The Antique Rug & Textile Show, now in it’s fifth edition, begins Thurday 17 October 2013 with an opening reception at 2.30 pm. The venue is the Motel Capri in the Marina District of San Francisco where some forty international antique rug dealers will exhibit their treasures.
The opening Thursday will run throughout the night and opening hours Friday 18 October through Sunday 20 October will be from 10 am to 8 pm.
Besides the fair the Antique Rug & Textile Show also include a special exhibition of tribal saddle bag sets at The Capri and lectures, show & tell and special connoisseur showings at the Krimsa Gallery nearby The Capri.
Koos de Jong’s speach about his research on Chinese and Tibetan saddle bags and his newly published book ‘Dragon & Horse – Saddle Rugs and Other Horse Tack from China and Beyond‘ will take place Friday 7 pm at the Krimsa Gallery, 2190 Union Street.
