The annual Antique Rug & Textile Show in San Francisco has been the premier antique tribal rug event since 2009. The event program has been developed over the years and this year’s program includes the traditional Dealer’s Fair, a special exhibition of Central Asian rugs, seminars for beginning rug collectors, lecture, a picnic at Jim Dixon’s Occidental Palace and much more, not to forget a lot of rug talk between dealers and collectors.
The ARTS opening reception will take place 16 October 2014 from 2:30 pm and dinner and wine catering start at 5:00 pm. Buy the tickets for the opening reception in advance to help ARTS to prepare for the event. ARTS is open and free for the public from Friday 17 October 2014 through Sunday 19 October daily from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm. All ARTS vsitors are also invited by SFBARS and Jim Dixon to attend a picnic at the Occidental Palace 15 October, the day before the ARTS opening.
The Dealer’s Fair includes some 30 internationally respected and well known dealers and exhibitors from UK, Italy, Germany, Israel, Turkey and Austria.
