The Textile Museum Associates of Southern California, Inc. (TMA/SC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the appreciation and understanding of handmade textiles, weaving, carpets, and costumes from around the world. Founded in 1985 by a group of Southern Californians with a shared interest in Oriental rugs and textiles, TMA/SC offers monthly educational programs, field trips, special events, and discussions.
Recent years, TMA/SC has expanded its reach by organizing virtual lectures via Zoom, enabling people from all over the world to participate in its programs. Additionally, the organization publishes a state-of-the-art monthly newsletter featuring information about carpet and textile events, providing valuable insights and updates for enthusiasts and collectors.
