Sartirana Textile Show begins in a few days The 13th Sartirana Textile Show will begin in a few days. The opening reception and preview will take place Thursday 14 September and the show will run through Sunday 17 September 2017. The venue is La Pila in Sartirana Lomellina. The Pila is an ancient rice mill from the 17th century. Side exhibitions as a part of Sartirana Textile Show The annual Sartirana Textile Show (STS) will take place 14 – 17 September 2017. The show includes the traditional dealer fair and also two interesting side exhibitions. David Sorgato will exhibit 15th-19th century embroidery from the Orient and Europe. The 13th Sartirana Textile Show 14-17 September 2017

The 13th Sartirana Textile Show (STS) will take place Thursday 14 – Sunday 17 September 2017 in Sartirana Lomellina at “La Pila”, a 17th century rice mill located besides Sartirana Castle. The fair has been held every year since 2005 and has become one of the most important fairs for antique rugs and textiles. In addition to the fair visitors can enjoy several side exhibitions, and the so called Tea Time Talks. Last years edition of the show attracted more visitors and more sales than former years. This years Sartirana Textile Show 2016 was held 18-22 September 2016 at ‘La Pila’, the seventeenth-century rice mill, in Sartirana. The show was well attended with more visitors than recent years. ‘We had more visitors than last years, about 10%, and although there were less dealers exhibiting, we had more business. So I think The Fair was really successful’ said Alberto Boralevi to Jozan Magazine. The Turkmen rugs exhibition at Sartirana Textile Show

Sartirana Textile Show 2016 took place 18-22 September 2016 in Sartirana, Lomellina near Milan. The show included, besides the fair, a highly interesting side-exhibition of Turkmen rugs with top pieces from Italian Collections. Some of the best pieces are illustrated and described in the recently published book by Jürg Rageth ‘Turkmen Carpets. This years Sartirana Textile Show will take place 14-18 September 2016 in “La Pila”, the old rice mill located besides Sartirana Castle.
