The chair of ICOC’s International Committee, Peter Bichler, has just informed the committee members about progress in the planning of upcoming ICOC activities for 2012 and 2013.

ICOC Symposium in June 2013

Peter Bichler will be ICOC's organizer of the Prague-Budapest Symposium.

ICOC is planning a symposium in Prague-Budapest in 2013. Dennis Dodds announced this at the recent ICOC in Stockholm and Peter Bichler, which will be the ICOC’s main organizer of this symposium, has just confirmed that planning is in progress.

ICOC Academic program

The ICOC academic program includes different areas of carpet studies f.ex. early and later nomad, village and workshop pile carpets and flat-weaves gathered by geographical origin.
