The next London Antique Rug & Textile Art Fair will take place in less than 3 months. The opening night Thursday 3 April 2014 from 6 pm-10 pm will be for invited quests and the fair will be open for the public Friday 4 April – Saturday 5 April, both days from 11 am – 7 pm, and Sunday 6 April from 11 am – 5 pm.
The Berlin Antique Rugs & Textile Exhibition, which will run through Sunday 2 June, includes besides the dealers fair, a special thematic sales exhibition of selected Turkmen, Anatolian, Caucasian, Chinese and Persian rugs and carpets. The exhibition is a mix of exclusive antique rugs and antique rugs priced below 1,000 EUR.
The new European antique rug fair BARE in Berlin 31 May through 2 June 2013 looks promising. The provisional exhibitor list already includes most European antique rug top dealers.
