LARTA, the London Antique Rug and Textile Art Fair, opened their preview for invited guests for a couple of hours ago and at the same time LARTA Online was launched. This virtual exhibition is the window to the fair for those who can’t attend and is a new improvement af the antique rug fair.
The fourth annual London Antique Rug and Textile Art Fair will take place 3-6 April 2014. This year the fair also goes global with a launch of a virtual fair. Cornucopia Magazine has dropped out of LARTA, and has been replaced by Carpet Collector.
The next London Antique Rug & Textile Art Fair will take place in less than 3 months. The opening night Thursday 3 April 2014 from 6 pm-10 pm will be for invited quests and the fair will be open for the public Friday 4 April – Saturday 5 April, both days from 11 am – 7 pm, and Sunday 6 April from 11 am – 5 pm.
The rug world in America also has it’s own reality show, one that is undeniably real on every level, and that’s ARTS San Francisco, 2013, held once again at the Motel Capri, just a quick hop, skip and jump from the glorious Golden Gate Bridge.
