Skinner holds their next special carpet auction ‘Fine Oriental Rugs & Carpets’ Sunday 13 March 2016 at 12pm in Boston. Their preview began Friday 11 March and it will also be open for the public Saturday 12 March from 12pm to 5pm and on the auction day Sunday 13 March from 9am to 10.30am.

The Fine Oriental Rugs & Carpets auction includes more than 300 antique rugs, carpets, and textiles from Persia, Anatolia, Caucasus, India, Central Asia, and China.

Some of the highlights inclde a rare 16th century Ming carpet fragment, and a a 19th century Imperial Chinese silk and metal thread nine-dragon carpet.
