Exhibited by Caravanserai at the SF Tribal & Textile Arts Show 2012

The 27th SF Tribal & Textile Arts Show will take place with an opening preview 7 February and ordinary showdays 8-10 February 2013 at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco.

The show will feature more than 15.000 textiles, antique rugs, arts and antiques from more than 100 dealers. Like recent years well known dealers and galleries like Gallery Arabesque, Aydin Oriental Rugs, Gebhart Blazek, Mehmet Cetinkaya Gallery, Caravanserai, Joe Loux, Cathryn Cootner, R. Franklin Hort, Hagop Manoyan, Galerie Smend, Joe P. Carr, and Wenhua Liu will show their rug and textile treasures.

The show will also feature a special exhibition of stitched quilts from the Indian sub-continent.  This exhibition is entitled ‘Saami and Kantha – The fabled stitched quilts of Sind and Bengal’.
