Jeff W. Boucher Collection of Baluchi rugs - Jozan Rug Lexicon
Indianapolis Museum of Art houses a large collection of Baluchi rugs from the Boucher Collection. Only a few are found on display in February 2025 but the museum’s website displays more than sixty Baluchi and Timuri rug images from the Colonel Jeff W. Boucher Collection.

Colonel Jeff W. Boucher was a distinguished U.S. Army officer and a renowned collector of Baluchi tribal weavings.
In 1990, Boucher authored “Baluchi Woven Treasures,” a comprehensive guide to the diverse weaves produced by the Baluchi tribes across Turkmenistan, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
