On 26 October 2023 the esteemed Norwegian carpet dealer Lars N. Nygaard held a speach for the Danish Rug Society on the recent Baluch exhibition at Blaafarveværket in Norway. This exhibition ended 24 September 2023 after a four month long and succesful exhibition. He also showed his new book ‘Baluch’ with images of all exhibited Baluch rugs and flatweaves.
Lars N. Nygaard also revealed and announced a new exhibition of more than 100 Persian, Caucasian, Baluch and Anatolian kilims and flatweaves in 2024. This kilim exhibition will run from May-September at Blaafarveværket, Nyfossum, Åmot, Norway.
‘I have three copies left from the first print. I have kept two copies for Parviz Tanavoli and will keep the last one for my self but I expect we will print more soon’ said Lars N. Nygaard to Jozan Magazine.
