The 6th annual Antique Rug & Textile Show in San Francisco begins Thursday 16 October 2014 and will run through Sunday 19 October but a pre-show gathering will take place at Jim Dixon’s Wednesday 15 October.
‘I have just got confirming that we will be having a pre-show gathering and picnic at Jim Dixon’s on Wednesday October 15, the day before the ARTS opening. The event will serve as both a reception for ARTS visitors and the annual San Francisco Bay Area Rug Society (SFBARS) picnic. Jim’s house, located in Occidental, California in Sonoma County was self-built to display his impressive rug collection’ said Ben Banayan to Jozan Magazine.
