Wovensouls, Singapore, will hold an online auction “Antique Phulkari Shawl Textiles” with 80 lots on September 6th 2020. The auction includes some of the best and oldest Phulkari Shawls from the Wovensouls Collection.
“The top lots in the auction are lot 78, a Khanjar Thirma Bagh, lot 80, a Swat Valley Phulkari Shawl and lot 79, one of the oldest surviving Bagh Phulkaris with rare green silk floss” says Jaina Mishra, Wovensouls, to Jozan Magazine.
Other highlights from the catalogue include lot 51, an old Swat Valley Shawl, lot 69, a Kohistani Shawl and lot 74, a Swat Valley Bridal Tunic.
