Bellini carpets photo gallery - Discover Bellini rugs

Bellini carpets, named after the Renaissance painter Gentile Bellini, are Anatolian prayer carpets depicted in several of his works. These carpets are known for their distinctive designs, often featuring niche patterns and geometric motifs, and are among the most significant examples of early Anatolian weaving.

The Bellini Carpets Photo Gallery includes notable examples such as a West Anatolian prayer rug from the first half of the 16th century and a carpet from Konya, dated 1600–1650, measuring 248 x 148 cm. These pieces highlight the historical and artistic significance of Bellini carpets.
