Dorotheum’s next carpet specialist auction ‘Oriental Carpets, Textiles and Tapestries’ will take place 24 September 2013 at Palais Dorotheum in Vienna. The preview exhibition will be open for the public from 18-24 September and the auction itself starts 24 September at 16.00. This auction includes 201 carpet, textile and tapestry lots and among the offered carpets are several very old Anatolian rugs and carpets. Collebtable and antique Persian, Caucasian, Chinese and Turkoman rugs and carpets are also present together with antique kilims and textiles.
