The London Antique Rug & Textile Art Fair (LARTA) 2023 will take place 24-29 January in London. LARTA was launched in 2011 and is the UK’s leading annual fair for antique rugs and textiles.
The exhibited rugs and textiles include weavings from the Far East, Central Asia, Persia, India, Turkey, the Caucasus, Europe and Africa from all periods up to the early 20th century. Since 2017, LARTA has broadened its offering to include 20th century carpets by modernist and art deco designers and a select choice of contemporary designer rugs.
The exhibiting dealers include Ebi Shafaghh Carpet Restoration Studio, Marilyn Garrow Fine Textile Art, Aaron Nejad Gallery, Owen Parry, Emily’s House London, Hakamie Rugs, Oriental Rug Shop, Ian Shaw Tribal Arts and Textiles, James Cohen Antique Carpets, Nomadic Rugs Gallery, Phil Bell and Shame Studios.
