The second London Antique Rug and Textile Art Fair be held from 22-25 March 2012.

The range of exhibits has increased in scope and breadth, and is presented by 11 experienced international dealers in rugs and carpets, tapestries and textiles, from the East (Anatolia, the Caucasus, Persia, Central Asia, India and China) as well as Europe and Africa. Works for sale will span all periods up to the early 20th century.

Many of the exhibitors have travelled widely in the Middle East, some have even lived amongst the peoples (many nomadic in nature) who create distinctive traditional tribal rugs and weavings.

HALI, the international magazine for carpet, textile and Islamic art and Cornucopia, the magazine for Turkish arts, travel and history will also participate with booths at LARTA 2012.
