Gros & Delettrez – Carpets and Textiles 15 April in Paris

Gros & Delettrez, with Berdj Achdjian as expert-specialist, will hold an auction with textiles and carpets Monday 15 April 2013 at 14.00 at Hôtel Drouot in Paris. The viewing exhibition is open Friday 13 April from 11.00 to 18.00 and Sunday 15 April from 11.00 – 12.00.

This auction includes 377 lots. Most of the lots are textiles and only a few pile rugs are represented. The textiles include Chinese robes and costumes, Chinese badges of rank, Indian textiles, Central Asian ikats, Suzanis and costumes, Ottoman silk costumes, Persian textiles and kilims, European tapestries, and much more. Among the pile carpets are a few examples of Persian, Caucasian, Turkmen and Chinese rugs and carpets.
