Austria Auction Company’s next specialist carpet auction ‘Fine Antique Oriental Rugs XXVI’ 25 September 2021 at 4pm includes some very fine antique rugs and also a broad selection of antique Persian, Caucasian, Turkmen, Balouch, Chinese and Tibetan rugs and also kilims and textiles among the 215 lots.

The preview at Palais Breuner in Vienna will take place 22 to 24 September from 11am to 6pm, and 25 September from 11am to the auction starts at 4pm.

Some of the highlights include lot 211, a mid 19th century Bakhshaish, lot 196,  a Southwest Anatolian ‘Coupled-column’ prayer rug,  lot 160, a Lori Pambak Kazak ca. 1880 and lot 36, an early Salor main carpet ca. 1800.
