Side exhibitions as a part of Sartirana Textile Show
The annual Sartirana Textile Show (STS) will take place 14 – 17 September 2017. The show includes the traditional dealer fair and also two interesting side exhibitions.
David Sorgato will exhibit 15th-19th century embroidery from the Orient and Europe. His show ‘Raqm in the Sign of Embroidery’ is the result of a twenty-five-years long research and a collection of the most rare and prestigious embroidery from all around the world.
Another side exhibition ‘Gabbeh, geometric Fantasy of Southern Persia’ includes outstanding examples from a Florentine Collection. This collection is formed during more than twenty years by a passionate rug lover who selected the best pieces available in international auctions and from leading collectors.
