The Nickle Galleries, Calgary, Canada is hosting an exhibition “Earth and Sky: Carpet Cultures of Asia” from 6 February to 26 April 2025.

The exhibition includes some of the oldest carpets in the Nickle Galleries collection, many of which that have never been displayed before. Highlights include rare 17th and 18th-century carpets from the Caucasus and Northwest Persia. This exhibition is curated by Michele Hardy.

The exhibition includes a series of tours and events, including a curator’s tour on 28 February, 25 March, and 11 April, as well as a public talk by Michele Hardy on 13 March 2025.
