The London Antique London Antique Rug and Textile Art Fair 22-25 March 2012 will also include lectures besides the fair. Brian MacDonald will speak about “Persian Tribal Rugs” and Marion Lichtig will hold a lecture “Decorating with Rugs and Textiles”.
“Marion Lichtig is one of the UK’s most creative interior designers. At the LARTA lecture she will be addressing issues such as ‘minimalism’ as a decorative style, and how to use colour, design and texture in modern furnishing settings. She will discuss past design projects in which she has used rugs and textiles, and will then tour the dealers’ stands indicating how various items in the Fair can be used in creative ways. It should be a highly stimulating and entertaining talk” said Aaron Nejad to Jozan Magazine.
Location and more information: LARTA, The Showroom, 63 Penfold Street, Marylebone, London NW8 8PQ.
