The International Conference on Oriental Carpets (ICOC) has announced new dates for the 16th ICOC in Brescia to 13-16 May 2027.
The reason is that the Italian authorities suddenly changed the dates for the world famous car race Mille Miglia from June to the end of May, which would have coincided with the earlier announced dates of the ICOC.
Plans are being made to extend ICOC-XVI to Milan.
The conference will be held at Centro Paolo VI in Brescia’s old town, featuring a 200-seat main hall, a connectable 100-seat second room, space for a Dealer’s Fair with 60–70 exhibitors, and 110 hotel rooms.
The MITA Museum, home to nearly 1,400 carpets, plays a central role.
According to ICOC registration will open once contracts and arrangements are finalized.
