Christies next special carpet auction will take place Tuesday 21 April 2015 at 10.30 am in King Street, London. Their viewing exhibtion is open for the public Friday 17 April 9 am – 4:30 pm, Saturday 18 April 12 pm – 5 pm, Sunday 19 April 12 pm – 5 pm and Monday 20 April 9am – 4:30 pm. This auction includes 194 carpet lots, and among them an important flatwoven Mongol Empire carpet from the late 13th or early 14th century with an estimate of £500,000 – £700,000.
