Central Asian Ikats at The Textile Museum of Canada

The Textile Museum of Canada, Toronto, will host an exhibition “Silk Oasis on the Silk Road: Bukhara” through 25 September 2011.

The exhibition features a collection of Central Asian ikats and embroidered silks, coats, veils, wall hangings and coverlets from the Textile Museum’s permanent collection.

The exhibition is curated by Natalia Nekrassova who will lead a tour through the collection 27 April and 24 August 2011.
