ICOC lectures: Persia

ICOC’s “Persia” sessions took place in the afternoon 18 June. Raoul Tschebull and Wendel Swan where moderators. The lecturers included Jessica Hallett, Hadi Maktabi, Peter Willborg and Afsaneh Ghani.

The Fourth Annual Caroline and H. McCoy Jones Memorial Lecture “Textiles and Costumes in Early Central Asian Photography” with Andrew Hale will take place Friday 11 February 2011 7pm at de Young Museum in San Francisco. Anahita Gallery’s Central Asia Photo Archive is the largest private archive in the United States of vintage nineteenth-century and early-twentieth-century photography from Central Asia.
