Sartirana Textile Show took place Thursday 17 September 2015 through Sunday 20 September where more than 20 International and Italian dealers showed their antique rugs and textiles. The fair was opened by the mayor of Sartirana, Ernesto Prevedoni Gorone. As usual the quality of the exhibited rugs was high and the atmosphere relaxed. Sartirana Textile Show 2015 begins next Thursday

The annual Sartirana Textile Show will begin in a week Thursday 17 September 2015 and will run through Sunday 20 September. Opening hours are Thursday 17 September 6 pm – 10 pm, Friday 18 September 10 am – 8 pm, Saturday 19 September 10 am – 10 pm, and Sunday 20 September 10 am – 7 pm. Planned and produced on a very short schedule, requiring Wendel Swan, who needed to be nearly omnipresent to put things together and bring it all off, the International Conference on Oriental Carpets was a real success. The ICOC Washington DC from 6-9 August 2015 includes a Carpet Fair with some 15 esteemed antique rug dealers. Many of these dealers will bring tribal rugs and Persian rugs and workshop carpets will also be a part of the fair exhibition.
