Netherhampton Salerooms next specialist sale of ‘Carpets, Rugs and Textiles’ will take place Wednesday, 4 December 2019 at 10.30a.m. The auction includes 369 lots, and among them Persian, Caucasian, Anatolian and Turkmen tribal rugs.

The viewing exhibtion is open for the public 2-3 December from 10a.m.-5p.m. and in the morning of the sale 4 December 8.30a.m.-10 a.m.

Baharlu rug
Rug probably by the Baharlu tribe of the Khamseh Confederacy, Fars, south west Persia, late 19th century, 7ft. 4in. X 4ft. 6in. 2.24m. X 1.37m. Estimate: 1,000 GBP – 1,500 GBP
Kazak medallion rug
Lot 401. Kazak medallion rug, south west Caucasus, second half 19th century, 6ft. 9in. X 5ft. 5in. 2.05m. X 1.65m. Estimate: 350 – 450 GBP
Rug by the Ersari Turkmen of Beshir
Lot 313. Rug by the Ersari Turkmen of Beshir, south Turkmenistan, late 19th/early 20th century, 6ft. 5in. X 4ft. 4in. 1.96m. X 1.32m. Estimate: 150 – 250 GBP
Konya fragment
Lot 276. Konya fragment, central Anatolia, circa 1850s, 2ft. 10in. X 2ft. 9in. 0.86m. X 0.84m. Estimate: 100 – 150 GBP
