Carpet XL Award

Carpet XL has announced a new award ‘Carpet XL Star’ to outstanding companies in the rug retail business.

‘With this award we want to support the rug trade in several ways. First of all, it is of course a good motivation for the winners to be officially honoured for their exemplary job. Secondly, it would help other retailers to see how companies deal with today’s market. We would very much like to establish the Carpet XL Star as an international award. As a business magazine for the retail trade we also want to put exemplary retailers in the spotlight in order to give the whole sector a push.’ says Tim Steinert, editor in chief for Carpet Collector.

Award categories

The Carpet XL Star will be awarded in the following categories, among others:

  • Exemplary rug specialist shop
  • Exemplary rug department
  • Interesting company start-up
  • Exemplary staff qualification
  • Exemplary new opening
  • Exemplary remodelling
  • Exemplary customer event
  • Exemplary generation change
  • Exemplary advertising
  • Exemplary website (no shop)

Apply for the award

Any rug retailer can apply for the award. The deadline is 31 August 2017. The only requirements are that participants would be willing to come to Domotex 2018 to receive the award and that the retailers has to agree that we publish an article about their shop.
