Bruun Rasmussen auction including rugs and carpets

The upcoming Bruun Rasmussen auction 909 on 21 September 2022 includes a number of oriental rugs such as a pictorial Mohtasham rug depiction of the tale of Bahram Gur, a small collection of Signed Seirafian Isfahan rugs, a Brussels mid-16th century tapestry, a palace Tabriz carpet and a couple of classical Heriz carpets.

The preview is open for the public 15-19 September 2022 and the auction includes 27 carpet lots.

Lot 361. A Palace Tabriz carpet, Persia. A unique and oustanding all over design. First half 20th century. 786 x 605 cm. Est. 27.000-33.500.- Euro.
Lot 337. An antique Heriz carpet, Persia. Design with central rosette on a red field surrounded by wide light blue entwined branches. C. 1900. 377 x 295 cm. 11.000-13.500.- Euro.
Lot 328 A signed Sadegh Seirafian Isfahan carpet, Persia. Mid-20th century. 329 x 211 cm. Est: 30.000.- Euro.
Lot. 309. An antique signed Kashan Mohtasham rug, Persia. A historical and legend depiction of the tale of Bahram Gur. C. 1900. Est. 11.000-13.500.- Euro.
Lot 302. A Brussels mid-16th century tapestry depicting the biblical event “The Crossing of the Red Sea”. Executed in wool and silk. 377 x 318 cm. Est. 8000.- Euro.
