Results from Bonhams spring sale ‘Islamic and Indian Art’

Bonhams ‘Islamic and Indian Art’ 8 April 2014 in London included 490 lots and the total sale was £ 4,5 million. Among the lots were 24 carpet lots and 7 of these were sold.

The top lot among the carpet lots was lot 134, an Agra carpet, cira 1890, which achieved a price £24,375 including premium. Lot 153, a large Ushak carpet, circa 1880, achieved £17,500 and lot 150, also a large Agra carpet were sold for £9,375 including buyers premium.
