Bonhams: London auction including carpets

Bonhams sale “Period Design” 18 December 2012 in London includes 46 Oriental rugs, carpets and textiles. Most of lots in this sale are 20th century Persian rugs and carpets but also a few 17th century Persian and Indian carpet fragments are present.

The preview exhibition is open for the public 16 December 11:00 – 15:00, 17 December 09:00 – 18:30 and 18 December 09:00 – 10:30. The “Period Design” auction starts at 12:30. Lot 1-206 are furniture and the session with carpets, rugs and textiles begins from lot 207.

Lot 229. A Bidjar khelleh, 559cm x 226cm Estimate: £800 – 1,200
