Bonhams next specialist carpet auction “Fine Oriental Rugs & Carpets” will take place in New York 9 October 2012 and a simulcast session will take place in Los Angeles. Viewing exhibitions are arranged in San Francisco 7-9 September, in Los Angeles 21-23 September and in New York 6-8 October.

This specialist Oriental rug auction includes 148 lots. Caucasian, Chinese, Turkoman and Anatolian rugs are represented but the major part of these lots, approximately 100 lots,  are antique and semi-antique Persian rugs and carpets.
