Bedouin garments – lecture by Lois Draper at the de Young Museum

The Textiles Art Council of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco will present a lecture 29 March 2014 at 10 am by Lois Draper, curator for the Valley Art Center, and a mini-exhibition about Bedouin garments no longer worn by women of the desert.

This lecture is entitled ‘Textiles and Costumes of the Arabian Peninsula’ and will be held in the Koret Auditorium at the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park.
