An exhibition of Azerbaijani carpets from the Louvre Museum collection opened 2 July 2019 at the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum in Baku. The exhibition includes late 18th to early 20th centuries Azerbaijani carpets.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition at the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum took the visitors on a short journey into the world of Azerbaijani carpets.
“The exhibition will last until 30 September and we are excited to welcome all of you at the Carpet Museum and present you these beautiful precious carpets” said Shirin Melikova, Director of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum.
