Austria Auction Company’s held their inaugural carpet auction in the autumn 2013 with a crowded auction room and a total sale of more than € 1.000.000 EUR. This was a good start for the owner Udo Langauer and the next sale ‘Fine Antique Oriental Rugs II’ on 15 March 2014 will most certainly also draw a lot of attention.
This auction at Novomatic Forum in Vienna includes 236 rugs and carpets and among them many very interesting tribal and antique Anatolian, Turkmen, Shasevan, Caucasian and Persian rugs and carpets.
The preview exhibition is open for the public from 13 March through 15 March and the auction itself begins 15 March at 4 pm.
