Condition Report: Pile overall is very good for an early carpet, approx 1 – 2 mm with knot bars appearing in liver colour in field and additional slight wear in left hand side of field and top 3 central motifs in centre column of guls. Flatweaves supported by linen backing stitched to reverse. Some minor reknotting in the field, really only visible on reverse, and some localised repiling in the whites.
