Condition: Dense evenly sheared pile, approximately 1 – 2 mm in depth and with flexible handle. Fine weave (resembling a Malayer weave). Small cobbled repair in forest green panel (with blossom tree), which would benefit from some attention. Luminous colours including a good ‘Granny smith’ apple green. Fringes trimmed to approx. 1 cm, with slight losses to zig-zag outer banding at lower end, upper end with partial flatweave extant. Estimate 3,000 – 4,000 GBP.
